The federation

An industry united.
A country moving forward.

Behind every structure are people, businesses and ideas. We bring them together to build a stronger construction industry for Namibia.

Independent. Connected. Committed.

A shared voice.
A lasting foundation.

The Construction Industries Federation of Namibia is an independent, nongovernmental and apolitical organisation representing businesses across the construction sector.

Our community includes building and civil contractors, growing SMEs, suppliers, manufacturers and specialist trades. Different businesses. A shared stake in the future of Namibia.

A volunteer executive committee, elected by members, brings perspectives from across the industry to the federation’s work.

Purpose in practice

Progress is something
we build together.

CIF’s mission centres on a prosperous construction industry, meaningful employment and stronger skills. We support constructive relationships between businesses, their employees and industry partners.

By coordinating training needs and representing the industry’s interests, the federation helps turn shared challenges into shared progress.

Our mission and objectives

01 / Representation

A stronger voice
at the table.

CIF represents member interests in conversations with government and industry stakeholders. We monitor policy developments and help communicate how proposed changes affect construction businesses.

Collective representation gives individual businesses a way to contribute to the issues shaping their industry.

02 / Business support

Practical support.
More confidence.

Running a construction business means managing people, projects and a changing operating environment. Member support includes employment and labour relations assistance, health and safety information, and relevant industry updates.

The federation also helps members build visibility and connections through its directory, publications and networking activities.
